Lost City Surf was founded by Great Lakes surfer and coach Tobi Wilczek looking for a space where the international surf community could come together and share enriching experiences on beaches and bodies of water all over our planet. Each retreat is a unique expression of the beauty and wonder that life has to offer, with a hint of guidance and inspiration.We understand that the time and space to escape from the hustle and bustle of life can be in limited supply, which is why we dedicate so much time and effort into all the preparations. Join Lost City Surf on the remote island of São Miguel, Azores in a stunning surf house and leave all your stressors behind. Discover volcanic sand beaches and the most relaxing hot springs in the Atlantic Ocean. São Miguel is part of the lush volcanic archipelago of the Azores, situated atop the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (often referred to as Europe’s Hawai’i), just a 5.5 hrs flight from Toronto, and 2 hrs from Lisbon. With water temperatures in the range of 18-25 Celsius, the Azores have one of the most unique temperate/subtropical climates on the planet. The price of the retreat includes your lodging, breakfast + lunch, as well as partial dinners, 6 surf + 3 yoga lessons (all levels) with local Azorean instructors, surfboard + wetsuit rental for free surf sessions, 2 hot spring visits, transportation!
